Dropping the Kaiju Gods project

I have hardly drawn for months, and I feel like I'm no longer excited by my Kaiju Gods project. There are several reasons, but I think the concept is redundant in the flood of Pacific Rim and Godzilla-inspired fanarts. There is no wow factor anymore. To make things worse, I had planned on advancing the setting and making the Kaiju Gods face human-piloted Mechas (but with a twist-in this case the Kaiju are the good guys).

I think with the sparse time in my hands I should try paleoart again. I don't think I have the level to do it justice, but I have improved a lot since I did my few paleoillustrations. Maybe I could achieve something decent enough.
As a biologist, it could even be helpful for me in the future.
