Sean Griffith was born in Hawaii, but moved at a young age with his family to the continent. Here they ended living in poverty, and Sean got into the streets to make a living. With a powerful physique and a lot of guts he left out unscathed of every fight he got (unwillingly) involved, and after gaining a reputation as the toughest street brawler, Iron Jaw, he ended making a career in professional mixed martial arts. It allowed him to mantain his old parents, at that was enough for him even when he didn't enjoy it.
In a certain combat, the opponent beat him so badly his Xenobionta powers activated, turning him into a monster who mauled and ripped apart the suddenly helpless fighter. With such an atrocity in front of hundred of cameras, he had to become a fugitive. Town after town he was treated like an outcast, chased and rejected. He got news about his parent's death, and he finally broke down.
With a deep hatred for what he himself was and for all his kind, he began searching for other Xenobionta users and fight them, without being able to stop his feral rage before killing many of them.
Realizing his life had fallen into mindless violence, Iron Jaw decided to travel the Xenobionta council to seek a new purpose.

Iron Jaw Xenobionta genes are those of chondricthyan fishes (sharks and rays). His stable transformation mixes the already formidable human frame of Sean with the traits of a shark.
The powerful jaws and tail are a fearsome offence, but the hard, sharp tooth-like scales covering his body augment his close combat style making it deadly, every punch hitting like a spiked macel, every kick slashing like a saw.
Iron Jaw can guide himself in low visibility conditions thanks to the low intensity electric field he produce, and such field can be focused, timed with a strike, to lightly numb an opponent and make his movement more difficult.
